Our Home Help Services
As we get older, we start to find some of the tasks we used to do are becoming more difficult. For those people that want to remain independent in their own homes, our home help services for the elderly are a perfect solution, helping with the day-to-day tasks to make your life easier. At Countrywide Cottage Carers, we believe that maintaining our client’s freedoms is of the utmost importance. All of our carers are experienced and can be selected to suit your precise needs, no matter what they are.
Our live-in carers are there to respect your decisions and dignity, being there without encroaching on your privacy.
Please note that our services cater only to the private sector. Prices start from £1,050 per week.
Standard Service Care
Our carers are available to offer day-to-day support and companionship for those who need assistance. They can be on hand to help with a range of personal care and domestic tasks such as washing, dressing, cleaning and shopping and give you the ability to remain living in your home independently. Our aim is to ensure the smooth running of your home and take additional stress off your shoulders.
Complex Care
Our care providers can also offer support with complex care such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis (MS) and Parkinson’s disease and hoisting.
Some of our clients are recuperating following surgery, an injury or a long-term illness and others may require palliative care – for us it’s all about making the right client to carer connections.
Live-in Night Carers
We like our carers to have a nights’ sleep in order to carry out their daytime tasks to a high standard. If you need extra support during the night, we can offer live-in night carers as a solution to assist you. This would be in addition to any live-in day care provider that you may already have.
Our COVID-19 Policy
All of our carers are required to take a lateral flow test and produce a negative result before attending any of our clients’ homes. The health and safety of our clients and carers is of the utmost importance to us and we are proud to offer a unique company driver service for any carers who do not own their own car which will pick them up from their home and deliver them directly to their client.
This is all included as part of our standard package and not as an additional cost to the client.
Frequently Asked Questions
We act as an introductory service connecting you with the right carer for you. Our services range from companionship, day-to day live-in care support and night care. We are also able to provide bespoke services in line with managing more complex needs for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinsons through to those with disabilities that may require hoisting.
With our live-in care agreement, the care provider will come to you based on an initial 2-week trial period. This allows you to get to know the carer and decide if you’d like to extend the service after this period. We will contact both the client and carer to review how the placement is working at the end of the trial period and if the pairing has worked well, you can then extend for a fixed term duration.
Your happiness is at the centre of everything we do, so if you’d like a different carer at any time, for any reason, we’re happy to accommodate this for you. We know how important it is to feel comfortable in your own home, and we will do our utmost to ensure we resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
